Solitaire Homestead Strawbale

Solitaire Homestead is a intimate escape in the heart of the South West Wine Region. Although you feel like a million miles away from it all, it is centrally located just 5 minutes from Dunsborough and 5 minutes from Yallingup. We are 110 acre property that is completely private from public view. If your looking for a little R&R this is your place.  

Please keep in mind, Solitaire Homestead is a working farm so you may occasionally see cars driving past but overall we give as much privacy as possible. 

 Once again we always give our guests as much privacy as possible. Note * We do not accept Leavers. 

My Husband and I live on the property. We like to give our guests as much privacy as possible but from time to time our friendly dogs wonder over to say hello. We are also just a phone call away if you need a hand with something. Dunsborough is a beautiful little town located just 5 km away. It is a small little town but filled with lots of things to do. Everything you need is just a 5 min drive away. Yoga and pilates Studios, cafe's, restaurants, fun little shops and of course the amazing beaches in every direction. Sheltered by Geographe Bay, Dunsborough & Yallingup are ideal family holiday destinations or romantic escapes, featuring quiet coves, sandy beaches, surrounding national parks, nature reserve and numerous scenic walk trails. Many unique art galleries, fine restaurants and wineries are situated just a short drive from Solitaire Homestead, which is ideal for guests looking to expand their culinary and viticultural horizons and artistic cultural pallet. It's best to have a vehicle in Dunsborough to get around to the best beaches, wineries and other fun activities. We have a gorgeous fire place built in to the wall at Solitaire. We love providing our guests with free fire wood. We ask that you use it wisely. Leave the flu closed once the fire is burning and the wood will last much longer. Please BYO fire lighters PLEASE do not take wood from the forrest to avoid bringing in termites or any other insects. Wood is provided to our guests free of charge. The Chest Outside should be full of wood. If you are running low please let us know and we will bring you more. We also recently installed WiFi in the house. The password is Solitaire. We love Pooches but pooch poop not so much. Please pick up after them each day and before you leave.
